SLM Solutions receives €12 million order

SLM Solutions Group AG, Lubeck, Germany, reports that it has recently signed a contract for a multi-machine order for a total of ten multi-laser SLM 500 Additive Manufacturing systems. This is the largest single order received by SLM Solutions for the SLM 500 machine to date. The systems will be shipped to a customer in China within the next 15 months.
Since its IPO, SLM Solutions has been pursuing the goal of further establishing itself in Asia and is currently represented by subsidiaries in Singapore, China and India. This major order is an important step for further growth in the region and proof of high demand worldwide for professional, industrial Additive Manufacturing systems. The SLM 500 multi-laser machine is the largest system that SLM currently produces.
