SLM Solutions makes additions to its senior leadership team

SLM Solutions Group AG, headquartered in Lübeck, Germany, reports that its Supervisory Board has appointed Charlie Grace as member of the Management Board and Chief Commercial Officer which came into effect on July 15, 2022. In addition to Grace’s appointment, it was announced that Gerhard Bierleutgeb will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Grace, who joined SLM Solutions as Chief Sales Officer in February 2021, will oversee the company’s global commercial activities including commercial strategy, business development and marketing. Additionally, he will continue to be the General Manager of SLM in North America. The company hopes to benefit from Grace’s experience and leadership from previous senior executive roles at ExOne, Xerox, 3D Systems and EFI.

Gerhard Bierleutgeb joined SLM Solutions in 2020 and has since played a key role as Executive Vice President (EVP) of Global Services & Solutions. In his new role as COO, Gerhard’s leadership experience and operational insights are anticipated to be invaluable to the continued success of the business.
