SLM Solutions expands in North America

SLM Solutions NA, Inc. the North American subsidiary of SLM Solutions, a provider of metal-based Additive Manufacturing technology and systems, has announced the relocation of its office to a modern facility and showroom in Novi, Michigan. The company has already employed additional staff and plans to continue its growth with further recruitment of qualified individuals in 2015.

“In this competitive environment, we are excited to continuously grow our capabilities to independently serve and support our customers in aerospace, medical, energy and consumer-based manufacturing,” stated Vice President of North America, James Fendrick. “With our new facility, we look forward to hosting an increasing number of individuals who have the need to actively explore the distinct capabilities of each Selective Laser Melting system.”

The company states that its SLM 280HL system is currently available to review and generate demonstration production parts. The SLM 125HL and SLM 500HL will arrive from SLM’s headquarters in Lübeck, Germany, early 2015.
