July 11, 2017

SLM Solutions Group AG, Lübeck, Germany, will provide its insights into aerospace applications for SLM Additive Manufacturing and exhibit its latest developments in aerospace technology at Moscow’s MAKS 2017, Russia, from July 18-23, 2017. The company will be represented on the joint stand of the Federal Association of the German Aerospace Industries Association in Hall F3F3 of the exhibition.

As Russia’s largest aerospace tradeshow, MAKS takes place once every two years in Zhukovsky, near Moscow. Dennis Schäfer, Managing Director of SLM Solutions’ Russian branch in Moscow will be present on the stand, along with his Russian-based team, to answer questions from trade fair visitors.

With the direct support of the Russian branch, SLM Solutions will present its entire product portfolio at MAKS. This includes the company’s machines, consumables and related services. Stefan Ritt, SLM’s VP Head of Global Marketing and Communications, stated, “We see very good market opportunities for our company [at MAKS]. There is a great deal of interest in the aerospace industry in Russia.

“During the last few years, SLM Solutions has sold and installed several systems in Russia, and in many talks our commitment was repeatedly valued as a clear mark of confidence and welcomed by the Russians,” he concluded.
