SLM Solutions announces new addition to Management Board

Dr Axel Schulz will join the Management Board of SLM Solutions Group AG as Chief Sales Officer on February 1, 2018, the company has announced.
Schulz will assume responsibility for the company’s sales, marketing, business development and service departments, as well as the 3D Metals business unit. He joins SLM Solutions from the position of CEO at Putzmeister, Aichtal, Germany.
“We are happy that Dr Schulz will join our team,” stated Hans-Joachim Ihde, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SLM Solutions. “He has a lot of experience in sales and business development as well as in after sales business, and supplements the Management Board around Uwe Bögershausen and Henner Schöneborn.”
