Fraunhofer IFAM, located in Dresden, Germany, will be hosting its Sinter-based Additive Manufacturing workshop from October 8 to 9, 2025, in Bremen, Germany. The event will present and discuss the challenges and opportunities for serial production with sinter-based Additive Manufacturing technologies along the value chain.

Sinter-based Additive Manufacturing methods, such as Metal Binder Jetting or Lithography-based Metal AM, are considered amongst the most promising routes towards modern industrial series production. One of the main benefits of sinter-based AM is the ability to utilise a wide range of materials, including metals and ceramics, any powder material that can be sintered is a potential candidate for this process.

International speakers from industry and R&D will provide insight into the latest advancements and industrial implementation of these technologies. The workshop programme will be supplemented by a pinboard-assisted general discussion, a tabletop exhibition and a Component Award competition.
