On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, James Demuth, CEO of Seurat Technologies based in Wilmington, Massachusetts, USA, is scheduled to speak at Formnext Forum Austin (FFA), delivering a keynote presentation on how Seurat plans to manufacture up to 25 tons of metal per year using only clean energy.

The manufacturing industry has been a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions for a long time, and its environmental impact is often overlooked. Powered by 100% renewable green energy, Seurat states it is reinventing and reshoring manufacturing with its Area Printing technology. This AM solution delivers high-precision, high-volume, decarbonised manufacturing, and the company anticipates this technology will mitigate as much as 100 million tons of CO2 by 2030.
