Seurat Technologies, Wilmington, Massachusetts, USA, has announced the appointment of Michael Kenworthy as Chief Product Officer.

Kenworthy brings experience in engineering operations and product development, particularly in Additive Manufacturing, aerospace and automotive. His appointment is said to solidify Seurat’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge, scalable AM parts to customers.

“Mike is an expert in Powder Bed Fusion and a wide range of AM technologies. He has a proven track record of strategic leadership, business acumen, and innovation,” said James DeMuth, co-founder & CEO at Seurat.

In his role, Kenworthy will work to drive Seurat’s technological and commercial advancements and contribute significantly to the company’s success. He will be working closely with teams across the Process, Technology, Marketing and Commercial domains.

“Enabling customers to build better products delivered by more resilient, flexible, and scalable supply chains is just one of the reasons I’m fired up to be here,” added Kenworthy.  “Area Printing is a critical US-born technology innovation that is now positioned to deliver all the long-promised benefits of additive manufacturing into serial production, without the inherent compromises of legacy approaches.”

Throughout his career, Kenworthy has been granted numerous patents and co-authored ‘Additive Manufacturing Change Management: Best Practices.’ He was most recently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Divergent Technologies, where he led the development of a novel adaptive production system and scaled the team to deliver results.
