Sciaky to highlight new metal Additive Manufacturing systems at RAPID 2015

May 19, 2015

Sciaky, Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries, Inc. and a provider of metal 3D printing solutions, has announced that it will highlight its new Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing (EBAM) metal 3D printing systems at this year’s RAPID event in Long Beach, California, USA, May 18-21.

The expanded lineup includes new options for medium, large and extra-large applications, for parts ranging from 305 mm (12 inches) to 5791 mm (19 ft) in length. EBAM is one of the fastest deposition processes in the metal 3D printing market, based on documented deposition rates ranging from 7 to 20 lbs. of metal per hour.

“Sciaky is excited to exhibit at this year’s RAPID event,” stated Mike Riesen, General Manager of Sciaky, Inc. “Our new EBAM metal 3D printing systems provide a wide variety of options for manufacturers looking to save significant time and money on the production of high-value metal parts.”

Sciaky recently unveiled a new website, as well as financing and leasing options for US customers who purchase EBAM 3D printing systems.
