The Sector Skills Strategy in Additive Manufacturing (SAM) is a project established to tackle the current European need for developing an effective system to identify and anticipate the right workforce skills for the AM sector. As part of the continuing research, two surveys are open to capture the opinions of employers and employees.

The two surveys are open until February 15, 2022.

The SAM project began in January 2019 and is scheduled to continue until December 2022. The consortium, composed of seventeen partners from nine countries, is committed to support the growth, innovation and competitiveness of the AM sector. All partners have expertise in manufacturing technology and/or education, and all are said to be recognised players in the field.
