Ricoh 3D to host Beyond Print customer and partner event in UK

Ricoh UK Products Ltd, based in Telford, Shropshire, UK, will be hosting its ‘Beyond Print’ customer and partner event on February 29, 2024. The event will offer technical deep dives, demos and a mini-industry marketplace, with topics including Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM), scanning, manufacturing, optimisation, post-processing, machine sales, parts manufacturing, as well as software and systems.

Beyond Print will include a presentation from Additive Manufacturing UK (AMUK), reporting on strategy meetings it held with AM businesses across the UK to discuss ideas to address challenges in developing and adopting standards for Additive Manufacturing in the UK, advancing skills, and enhancing AM capabilities in the UK supply chain.

Ricoh will be hosting a factory tour, including the first-ever official Metal Additive Manufacturing Customer Experience Centre formal demonstration, showcasing Ricoh’s aluminium metal Binder Jetting technology.

Other Ricoh business areas will also be showing their respective technologies, including Inkjet, Toner (including Robotics and Automation), Toner Recycling, CP Greenline, Smart Factory operations and Coloreel, as well as how the site is utilising various AM solutions in its services and products.

The event progamme is as follows:

  • 10:00-10:15 – Introduction to Ricoh 3D and Beyond Print event
  • 10:15-10:35 – AMUK strategy round-up and vision
  • 10:35-11:15 – Four dedicated partner presentations
  • 11:30-11:40 – Introduction to Composite-Based Additive Manufacturing (CBAM)
  • 11:40-12:20 – Four dedicated partner presentations
  • 12:20-13:30 – AM Marketplace
  • 13:30-14:00 – Keynote address by Keith Miller, Senior Rehabilitation Engineer, at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust
  • 14:00-14:15 – Closing address
  • 14:15-15:45 – Factory tour
