Registration is now open for EMO Hannover 2019

EMO Hannover 2019 will be held at Deutsche Messe in Hannover, Germany, from September 16–21, 2019. Organised by the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association (VDW), Frankfurt, the biennial EMO Hannover hosted nearly 2,230 exhibitors and was visited by 130,000 industry professionals in 2017, 50% of whom attended from outside Germany.

The theme of EMO Hannover 2019 is ‘Smart technologies driving tomorrow’s production!’ The 180,000 m2 (approx 1.94 million ft2) exhibition at EMO Hannover 2019 will include a large number of exhibitors in the following product categories:

  • Machine tools
  • Additive Manufacturing
  • Other machines
  • Precision tools
  • Parts, components, accessories
  • Software, manufacturing and process automation
  • Metrology and quality assurance
  • Services

The show also features a supporting programme designed to highlight innovations in the metalworking industry. In 2019, the programme will feature a new ‘IoT in Production’ display section. This display section will comprise a diverse offering including the Industry 4.0 Special Show Area, the IoT Speakers’ Forum, and national pavilions showcasing Industry 4.0-based initiatives from Spain, France, Japan, China and the USA.
