Registration deadline nears for CopperAM for Industry workshop
The registration deadline is approaching for the CopperAM for Industry workshop, organised by Fraunhofer IWS and scheduled to take place September 15-16, 2025. Launched in 2022, the event gathers experts from industry and research to provide overviews on the status of copper and copper alloys processed by Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) Additive Manufacturing.
In Additive Manufacturing – and especially PBF-LB – copper has emerged as one of the five major metal classes alongside Fe, Ti, Al, and Ni, explains Fraunhofer IWS.
The CopperAM for Industry workshop will focus on copper-based materials, process development and industrial use cases, as well as fostering networking opportunities.
