Quality Control for Additive Manufacturing to be focus of meeting
December 2, 2016
A Special Interest Group Meeting on Quality Control for Additive Manufacturing will take place on January 23-14, 2017 at the Manufacturing Technology Centre, Coventry, UK. Co-organised by the European Society for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology (euspen), University of Nottingham, the Manufacturing Technology Centre and the National Physical Laboratory, the meeting will present the state of the art and current research in different aspects required for quality control in Additive Manufacturing.
Presentations will focus on dimensional tolerance testing, surface texture assessment, non-destructive testing, metrology, in-process measurement and materials testing. There will also be a commercial session where companies making tools and materials can showcase their latest advances.
The event will enable participants to understand the current status and challenges of quality assurance in AM and network with those who are also interested in this important topic.
