POWTECH 2019, the global trade fair for powder processing, will take place from April 9-11, 2019, at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, Nuremberg, Germany. Held once every eighteen months, the trade fair showcases innovations and new approaches for the powder processing industries across six exhibition halls, including solutions for metal powder processing.

At POWTECH 2019, exhibitors will showcase their latest developments for mechanical processes like size reduction, agglomeration, separation, screening, mixing, storage and conveying. The equipment and machinery on display are fundamental to the production processes of numerous industries, including PM, Metal Injection Moulding and Additive Manufacturing.

“Current industry megatrends such as energy storage or Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) are inconceivable without mechanical processing technology,” stated Beate Fischer, Exhibition Director POWTECH. “At POWTECH 2019, we will be exploring these new application scenarios among others.”

Among those attending and exhibiting at POWTECH are expected to be a number of global market leaders and innovative companies. Currently, registrations are reported to have been received from twenty-seven different countries, and pavilions from Japan, China and Spain have been announced. In 2017, 29% of exhibitors and 40% of visitors came to POWTECH from outside Germany.
