PostProcess Technologies Inc., Buffalo, New York, USA, has appointed Melissa Hanson to the position of Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately. She will report directly to Jeff Mize, Chief Executive Officer.

Hanson is experienced in spearheading innovation and leading high-performing teams to deliver value and transformational growth in the manufacturing and technology sectors. She brings over seventeen years of experience in market-driven strategy deployment to PostProcess, including eight years as a senior marketing leader in the Additive Manufacturing industry.

She most recently served as vice president of Product Marketing at Nexa3D, leading its positioning and commercialisation strategy for new AM solutions. Prior to that, Hanson was global vice president of Marketing for Trimble’s transportation sector and has also held numerous marketing leadership roles during her tenure at Stratasys, where she led product positioning, content strategy, field marketing, and demand generation for its Americas region.

In her role as CMO at PostProcess, Hanson will lead Global Marketing and Inside Sales. She will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that accelerate PostProcess’s global reach in offering automated and connected post-printing solutions in Additive Manufacturing. PostProcess explains that critical to the success of this effort is the key role Hanson will play in collaborations with the company’s growing number of strategic partners from software to AM machine OEMs and material science companies.

“As we continue to accelerate our ground-breaking journey at PostProcess from category creator to achieving widespread adoption and delivering industry-leading annual growth, I’m pleased to welcome Melissa Hanson to the Senior Leadership Team,” stated Mize. “Melissa comes with extensive international marketing expertise and relevant industry experience. She is a strong cross-functional leader with proven know-how for scaling up at this high-growth stage for our business.”

Hanson added, “I am excited to join the talented and passionate team at PostProcess, and eager to lead the way in educating on its vision and mission because I believe it is one of tremendous impact. The time is now to flip the 3D printing workflow on its head to prepare for a future where post-printing becomes a leading consideration and critical pillar to the mission of fully automating and digitising Additive Manufacturing – and at production scale.”
