PostNord AB, Solna, Sweden, a leading supplier of communication and logistics solutions in the Nordic region, has partnered with 3YOURMIND, Berlin, Germany, as part of its ongoing investment in Additive Manufacturing services. The company’s subsidiary, PostNord Strålfors, will make use of 3YOURMIND’s software platform to help drive on-demand manufacturing.

PostNord began its investment in Additive Manufacturing services in 2017, and states it has that identified Additive Manufacturing as the next step in its service offering in order to address the changing needs of its customers. “At PostNord Strålfors, we aim to be our customer’s digitalisation partner, and we constantly need to strive for digital developments and explore new business opportunities,” stated Ylva Ekborn, CEO of PostNord Strålfors Group.

After meeting 3YOURMIND at the formnext industrial trade show in November, PostNord reported that it quickly recognised that the company’s software platform offered a suitable business-to-business solution for AM.

“We appreciate 3YOURMIND´s agile approach and rapid development to adapt the platform to our needs and business model,” stated Tomas Lundström, 3D Business Development Project Manager at PostNord Strålfors. “3YOURMIND´s platform enables automated pricing, order management and customer fulfilment, which makes them a partner we can develop with as the 3D business is growing.”

At PostNord Strålfors we found the same innovative energy for pushing towards a widespread adoption of industrial 3D printing across all Nordic countries.”
