Pometon metal powders selected for Dubai’s 3D Printing Strategic Alliance

Pometon S.p.A., headquartered in Maerne, Venice, Italy, has been selected to be part of the 3D Printing Strategic Alliance for Dubai, launched in 2020 by HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Dubai Future Foundation.
Pometon established PometonPlus, its new segment dedicated to the production of metal powders for Additive Manufacturing, early this month, and will produce metal powders for use in the AM machine the alliance aims to develop, aimed at medical and dental applications.
The alliance is made up of a network of institutions around the world, including government entities, academia and AM companies, involved in developing innovative solutions and strategies to accelerate the adoption and use of the Additive Manufacturing technology, and aims to offer a wide range of products, supplies and services in vital sectors to meet market needs and achieve self-sufficiency, supporting government, economic, healthcare and scientific sectors worldwide.
