PMAI issues call for papers for PM22 International Conference on Powder Metallurgy

The Powder Metallurgy Association of India (PMAI) has issued a call for papers for the PM22 International Conference on Powder Metallurgy and announced the dates of its 47th Annual Technical Meeting. Taking place as a virtual event from April 18-20, 2022, the organisers are seeking technical papers from those in industry, research and academia to present work on various sectors of PM.

Papers on the following topics will be accepted:

  • Industrial PM (Press & Sinter) technology for auto, electrical and machine parts
  • Powder injection moulding (MIM & CIM)
  • Additive Manufacturing
  • Hardmetals and diamond tools
  • Development of materials & alloys for emerging applications
  • Technical ceramics

Completed papers will be eligible for the ‘Prof G S Tendolkar Award’, the winner of which will receive a cash prize and a certificate for the best paper on the fundamentals of PM. There will also be a ‘Promising Young Professional’ award.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts is January 31, 2022, with acceptance announced on February 15. Any accepted paper must be submitted in full by March 31.
