Phoenix Scientific Industries to supply IRT-M2P with HERMIGA atomiser system

Phoenix Scientific Industries Ltd (PSI), Hailsham, East Sussex, UK, has been awarded a contract for an HERMIGA atomiser system by IRT-M2P (Institut de Recherche Technologique – Métaux, Matériaux, Procédés), Metz, France, the French Institute of Technology, specialised in metals and materials research.

PSI will reportedly supply a HERMIGA 120/250 V3I atomisation system for an innovative technological research programme to produce the highest quality aluminium alloy powders in batches of around 100 kg for use in metal Additive Manufacturing.

PSI is a leading designer and supplier of advanced materials technology and systems. The company’s solutions are deployed globally in a wide range of sectors and applications, spanning commercial multi-tonnage continuous powder production through to highly

specialised advanced metals research centres.
