One Click Metal leverages new partners’ knowledge to enter AM dental market

July 7, 2021

One Click Metal, Tamm, Germany, has partnered with dental CAD/CAM production system manufacturer imes-icore and production centre i-proDens with the aim of accessing the stringently monitored Additive Manufacturing dental market.

“The dental market is an important market for us, as customers here are already producing economically with our technology,” stated Gerrit Brüggemann, CEO of One Click Metal. “With the dental system manufacturer imes-icore, which has established international market access and a solid understanding of customers, and the milling centre i-ProDens, which brings both the process understanding and the customer view, we have found two very strong partners to jointly give dental customers the opportunity to expand their service portfolio in a reasonable and profitable way.“

The dental industry, like any other medical industry, has high demands for entrance, with both quality expectations and regulations growing over time. As such, One Click Metal chose two established names in the dental industry. imes-core, established in 2003, covers many individual requirements of dental practices, dental laboratories and milling centres with its wide range of dental CAD/CAM milling and grinding systems. The manufacturing service provider i-ProDens i offers individual solutions in dental technology and helps to drive industrial digitalisation through its process understanding.

Christoph Stark, CEO of imes-icore, commented, “With these high-quality AM systems and the strategic partnerships with One Click Metal and i-ProDens, we are adding another forward-looking technology for professional laboratories and milling centres to our range of dental CAD/CAD production systems for manufacturing dental implants.“

One Click Metal focuses on strategic partnerships which allow it to best develop and distribute products with the highest customer benefit whilst leveraging its own core competencies. In the past, the company has partnered with Trumpf on its process. With the Index Group, One Click Metal was able to ramp up the production and acceleration of e-commerce and digitalisation solutions. In line with this history, the company hopes its partnership with imes-icore will enable its continued market expansion.
