nTopology reports strategic investment from In-Q-Tel

July 7, 2020

Engineering software company nTopology, New York City, New York, USA, has entered into a partnership with In-Q-Tel, Inc. (IQT), a non-profit strategic investor which identifies and delivers cutting-edge technology for the USA’s intelligence and national security community.

Nicky Soane, PhD, nTopology Solutions Architect, stated, “The investment from IQT validates the powerful capabilities of nTop Platform, nTopology’s design-engineering software suite. We are excited to join In-Q-Tel’s portfolio of companies and work together on digital design and advanced manufacturing technologies with their partners.”

The nTop Platform developed by nTopology enables high-performance designs, very rapid iterations, and a high degree of geometric complexity. It is believed that its ‘unbreakable modelling technology’, field-driven design and remixable workflows will be highly useful to IQT’s affiliates.

Steve Taub, partner for investments at IQT, commented, “We are thrilled to be working with nTopology and are excited about the potential their technology can bring to our government partners as they continue to unlock the power of Additive Manufacturing.”
