Altair, Troy, Michigan, USA, will host its ninth European Altair Technology Conference, June 26-28, 2017 at the Congressforum Frankenthal in the Rhine/Neckar region of Germany. Spanning the entire spectrum of Altair offerings, from the application of simulation and optimisation technologies to partner solutions as well as high-performance and cloud computing, Altair stated that the three-day event will offer visitors the opportunity to gain information from technical experts offering innovative content and product development techniques. This year, for the first time, the conference will also include a day dedicated especially to simulation, design and HPC solutions and new approaches to product development via simulation.

“Two years ago, more than 650 engineers and simulation experts joined us in Paris, showing tremendous interest, not only in our tools but also in our methods and product development philosophy,” commented Dr Pietro Cervellera, Managing Director CEE, Altair. “The 2017 agenda will reflect how Simulation-driven Innovation is leveraging simulation, optimisation, high-performance computing and cloud technologies to design disruptive future products. These topics will meet the needs of all kinds of product creators and will cover all types of industries – from architecture to industrial design, automotive and aerospace to general machinery and manufacturing.”

Divided into parallel solution-focused sessions, day one will target an audience with a general design and engineering background in order to familiarise them with Altair’s solutions. The program will offer insights into product development methods, simulation solutions and will provide general information on the use of simulation in various industries. Day one will also host a session for academic users.

Day two will be dedicated to keynote presentations from all industries, delivering insights into Simulation-driven Innovation techniques from Altair customers, the Altair executive team and industry experts. This day is aimed at executives, engineers and product creators looking for insights from leading industries.

Day three of the conference will see in-depth technical presentations given by experienced users of the Altair solutions. A technical showcase, presenting software and service solutions of Altair and its partners will complement the event. Exhibition details and sponsoring options will be published on the event website.
