AM-Motion Summer School registration to open March 2018

February 27, 2018

The EPMA’s AM Summer School, part of the AM-Motion European H2020 Project, will be held from the September 4-7, 2018, at Prodintec, Gijon, Asturias, Spain.

The overall objective of the AM-Motion CSA is to contribute to a rapid market uptake of AM technologies across Europe by connecting and upscaling existing initiatives and efforts, improving the conditions for large-scale, cross-regional demonstration and market deployment, and by involving a large number of key stakeholders, particularly from industry.

AM Summer School will focus on the main Additive Manufacturing concepts, existing materials and processes as well as design and manufacturing paradigms, market relevance and specific best practice examples. It is expected to allow students to gain a thorough insight into the world of Additive Manufacturing, whilst spreading knowledge and providing an entry-path into specific AM-focused vocations.

Registrations will be online and are set to open in March 2018. Twenty funded spots are available, and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Further non-funded places are available, but as places are limited, the EPMA stated that it recommends attendees register as early as possible.
