Metallurgy Russia announce 2022 dates after successful 2021 event

July 17, 2021

The organisers of Metallurgy Russia, the International Metallurgical Technology Processes and Metal Products trade fair, have announced that next year’s event will be held in Moscow, Russia, on June 7–9, 2022. Held in conjunction with the Litmash Russia trade fair, an event for the foundary technology and suppliers industry, the trade fair is recognised as the leading event for the metal industry in Russia.

The 2021 events – Wire Russia, Tube Russia, Metallurgy Russia and Litmash Russia – took place in Moscow in June and hosted a reported 200 companies from eleven countries. Approximately 4,500 trade visitors received information on machines, plants, equipment and solutions for the casting and processing industries, as well as for metallurgical processes, machines and plants for wire production and wire processing, and current technologies in the fields of tube production, tube processing and tube machining.

Gerrit Nawracala, Project Director, Metallurgy & Foundry Technologies, stated, “Exhibitors and visitors from the fields of metallurgical technology, metal products, foundry technology, accessories and castings confirmed to us that they would like to meet again next year for personal exchanges in Moscow. Therefore, we are pleased to send a positive signal for the iron, steel and metal industry with the new exhibition date.”

Metallurgy Russia and Litmash Russia are organised by Metal Expo/Russia, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its Russian subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf Moscow. The BMWi (German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy), CEMAFON (The European Foundry Equipment Suppliers Association) and CECOF (The European Committee of Industrial Furnace and Heating Equipment Associations) are also said to be planning involvement.
