MAPP International Conference opens registration

Registration is now open for the second international conference from MAPP (Manufacturing using Advanced Powder Processes), the EPSRC Future Manufacturing Hub led by the University of Sheffield. The event is expected to take place at the Novotel in Sheffield from June 28-29, 2023, having been postponed from its original 2020 date due to COVID-19 restrictions.
MAPP’s Second International Conference will cover the following themes:
- Processing platform research
- Cross-cutting theme research
- MAPP feasibility studies and prospective powder processing research
- Updates from ex-MAPP research colleagues
- Industry and industry-aligned presentations
The conference is expected to bring together key international decision-makers from across the powder design, processing and manufacturing sector, as well as early-career academics. Attendees are welcome from sectors including suppliers to the fields of materials science, automatic control and systems engineering and mechanical engineering.
