Kymera International, a speciality materials company headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, has appointed Mark McClanahan as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer reporting to Barton White, CEO of Kymera.

McClanahan will lead the Global Finance and Accounting Team and joins Kymera with more than twenty-five years of experience in finance leadership he attained while working at companies such as Ingersoll Rand and Honeywell. He is reported to have has strong acquisition and integration experience and is an operationally focused finance leader.

He has a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Case Western Reserve University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Miami University. McClanahan has recently relocated to the Raleigh area from Charlotte, North Carolina and will be based at the RTP Corporate offices.

McClanahan succeeds Jim Hunt who has retired from his career in public accounting and in the corporate world in both the public and private sectors. Kymera states that Hunt was an integral part of the company’s success since he joined in 2011.
