Chinese metal Additive Manufacturing company Guangdong Hanbang 3D Tech Co., Ltd (HBD) reports that its customer Suzhou ChuangYiTe (CYT) Precision Technology Co., Ltd., has installed an additional Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) Additive Manufacturing machine from HBD.

CYT now has a total of three of the company’s AM machines – two HBD-280 and one HBD-350 – in order to expand its metal AM and tooling solutions offerings. The company provides mould manufacturing and metal AM solutions for the automotive, cosmetic and electrical tools industries.

CYT is expanding its metal AM capabilities in order to improve production efficiency, enhance its Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) capabilities, optimise tooling design, and offer customised AM products that meet the quality and lead time needs of its customers.

With a build size of 250 × 250 × 300 mm, the HBD-280 is designed for tooling development, medical and automotive applications, and research. The HBD-350 AM machine is compatible with single/dual laser configuration, features a powder supply and recoating system, closed automatic powder circulation system, and independent long-term multi-stage purification system.
