GPAINNOVA, a provider of surface finishing solutions for metal parts headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, has introduced the DLyte MF1000, a mass electropolishing system designed to deliver bright, uniform finishes across large batches of small parts while preserving component geometry.

The MF1000 uses GPAINNOVA’s FixtureFree technology, which allows parts to be processed without individual holders or clamps. Components move freely on a conductive vibrating mesh inside the workbowl, where controlled vibration and a dynamic cathode are used to achieve consistent surface treatment.

Sinter-based Additive Manufacturing: Beyond the hype, towards industrial success

By eliminating individual fixturing, the MF1000 is intended to simplify loading, reduce setup time and reduce manual handling. Its 32-litre workbowl supports high-throughput production, enabling the DLyte electropolishing process to be used for larger production batches.

Following processing, an automatic discharge mechanism transfers finished parts to an extraction tray, with integrated post-process cleaning, simplifying collection. An optional media separation unit recovers electrolyte for reuse, reportedly helping reduce media consumption and operating costs.
