August 28, 2015

August 28, 2015

This year’s GOM 3D Metrology Conference will run from September 21 – 24, 2015, in Braunschweig, Germany. The international conference will focus on the latest hardware and software developments in 3D metrology, with the main topics covering tolerance management, global supply chain management and automated metrology as well as component testing in the aerospace and automotive industries.

The conference is free to attend and will include presentations from companies such as Rolls-Royce, Adidas, Volkswagen, Škoda and ThyssenKrupp. The organisers are expecting around 600 attendees over the four days and state that the event has developed into a well-established platform for meeting experts in measurement technology, quality control and product development.

Optical measuring techniques have become a standard in industry and research. This year’s GOM 3D Metrology Conference will show in user presentations and live demonstrations, how optical measuring systems shorten development cycles and improve production processes. In addition, a technical exhibition gives participants the possibility to deepen their knowledge of optical measuring techniques and exchange experiences with experts.
