GF Machining Solutions to showcase complete range of systems for intelligent production at EMO Hannover 2017

GF Machining Solutions, Switzerland, will showcase its latest range of systems for intelligent production at EMO Hannover 2017, Hannover, September 18-23, 2017. The company’s exhibit, titled ‘Envision Your Future’, will include a strong focus on current manufacturing trends such as Additive Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and energy efficiency, with a range of dedicated products and a comprehensive portfolio of cross-technologies and intelligent solutions which it claims will take users’ manufacturing processes ‘to the next level’.

The company, a division of Georg Fischer Group, provides machines, diverse technical solutions and services to the tool and mould making industry, as well as to manufacturers of precision components. GF states that it will draw on a legacy of technical innovation to showcase intelligent ecosystems spanning the full range of its products for key industrial segments such as automotive, aerospace, medical and electronic components.

Among the products on show will be the company’s:

  • AgieCharmilles AM S 290 Tooling Additive Manufacturing solution, based on the EOS M 290 and aimed at further improving efficiency in the mould and die process
  • Mikron MILL P 500 U high-performance milling solution, which will debut at EMO and reportedly enables continuous machining of complex forms and tough materials while shortening process time
  • AgieCharmilles CUT P 350 wire-cutting Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) solution, reported to represent a significant step toward the increased connectivity of Industry 4.0.
  • AgieCharmilles CUT 2000 X wire-cutting EDM machine, which offers 100% automation and automatic onboard quality control

GF Solutions will be exhibiting on Stand B24, Hall 27.
