GE increases its shareholding in Arcam to around 95%

GE Sweden Holdings AB (a subsidiary of GE and part of GE Additive and GE Aviation) has reportedly increased its stake in Arcam AB to approximately 95%. According to Arcam, GE agreed to acquire Elliott Management and Polygon Investment Group’s respective shares in Arcam at a price of SEK 345 per share.
The acquisitions were expected to complete on 29 December, 2017. In addition, Arcam reported that GE plans to utilise its right under the Swedish Companies Act to buy-out the remaining shares in the company and intends to request that it applies for delisting of its ordinary shares from Nasdaq Stockholm.
Arcam stated that it will announce further information on the contemplated buy-out and delisting as soon as formal decisions have been made.
