Freeman Technology, Tewkesbury, UK, will for the first time exhibit its material characterisation solutions at German-based trade show Analytica, April 10-13, 2018. Analytica is a biennial trade fare for laboratory technology, analysis and biotechnology.

With a facility now established in Germany, Freeman will showcase its material characterisation solutions, which it states are designed to optimise process performance, increase productivity and improve quality in a diverse range of sectors. Solutions on display will include the FT4 Powder Rheometer, which uses patented dynamic methodology, automated shear cells (in accordance with ASTM D7891) and a series of bulk property tests to quantify powder behaviour in terms of flow and processability.

Also on show will be the Uniaxial Powder Tester, which aims to provide an accurate and repeatable measure of the uniaxial unconfined yield of a powder to assess and rank flowability. The company also offers in-line, real-time flow measurement capabilities via an exclusive partnership with Lenterra Inc, manufacturers of optical flow sensor technology.

Freeman’s powder characterisation solutions will be on display on Stand 423, Hall A2, where the company states that expert teams will be on hand to discuss individual powder handling challenges, with a focus on delivering the most relevant information for a specific process.
