France’s largest dedicated Additive Manufacturing trade show, 3D PRINT, will be held from June 13-16, 2017, at the Lyon Eurexpo, Lyon, France. The show, now in its fourth year, will host 180 exhibitors covering the entire Additive Manufacturing process, including machine, software and services providers.
In the three years since its inauguration, the trade show has tripled its exhibitor and visitor numbers. In addition to the exhibition, there will be a full programme of conferences and some 30 workshops open to all visitors. Among the speakers will be Shlomo Magdassi, University of Jerusalem, Thierry Thomas, Vice-President, Safran Additive Manufacturing and Dr Christophe Marquette, Research Director, CNRS (French National Scientific Research Centre), Christophe Eschenbrenner, Digital Supply Chain Manager, ALSTOM and Julien Guillen, Leader of Additive Manufacturing, B’TWIN DECATHLO.
Also speaking at a special workshop will be Olympic cyclist Kevin Sireau, three-time team sprint world champion and former world record holder for the 200 m race. Sireau will discuss his team’s use of additively manufactured handlebars at the 2016 Rio Olympics and their impact on ergonomics, aerodynamics and rigidity.
