Formnext Forum Tokyo, organised by Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd, will take place September 27-28 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Hamamatsucho-Kan. Held annually, Formnext Forum Tokyo combines product showcases with special seminars covering Additive Manufacturing technologies across various Japanese user industries.

Sixty-five exhibitors are scheduled to take part this year, alongside a combination of on-site and virtual seminars before and after the event. The eight ‘special seminars’ are expected to provide relevant industry knowledge while also offering business and networking opportunities. A seminar of particular interest may be ‘Metal AM technology trends & promotion of domestically produced MEX metal’, which will be presented by Hideki Kyogoku, Dr Eng Professor, Kindai University.

An industrial forum sponsored by TÜV SÜD Japan Ltd, the Japanese Society of Additive Manufacturing/Kansai 3D Project, and the Japan 3D printing Industrial Technology Association is also on the agenda. Focusing on both technical advances and business opportunities, the forum will cover a wide range of topics relevant not only to domestic and global interests.

A pre-event online seminar will take place on September 9, providing highlights on what to expect onsite, as well as information on overseas exhibitors.

Formnext Forum Tokyo is part of a series of international events including:

  • Formnext + PM South China: September 14–16, 2022, Shenzhen, China
  • Formnext: November 15–18, 2022, Frankfurt, Germany
