EXPO3D Istanbul 2026 attracts over 11,000 visitors and confirms 2027 dates

EXPO3D Istanbul took place at the Istanbul Expo Center, Türkiye, from September 17–19, 2026, bringing together technology suppliers, manufacturers, researchers and industry professionals involved in Additive Manufacturing (AM) and advanced production technologies.
The exhibition welcomed 11,224 visitors, including 1,082 international visitors, with 127 exhibiting companies and more than 320 brands represented. According to a post-event survey conducted by the organiser, 87% of responding exhibitors reported meeting qualified prospective customers.

EXPO3D Istanbul is scheduled to return from September 30–October 2, 2027, with organisers aiming to increase international participation and expand the range of technologies represented across the AM production process chain.
Türkiye’s diverse manufacturing sector provides an audience for international technology suppliers across a range of industrial applications. The exhibition’s 2026 visitor profile spanned sectors including defence, aerospace, automotive, home appliances, medical, energy, shipbuilding, plastics, mold-making and jewellery, sectors with different production requirements and opportunities for AM applications.
“International companies need opportunities to understand where their technology can make a practical difference,” said Yıldırım Ünverdi, Fair Coordinator of EXPO3D Istanbul. “Our aim is to bring them into direct contact with the companies evaluating those possibilities. Türkiye’s range of manufacturing industries gives these conversations considerable depth, from materials and design through to production, finishing and quality assurance.”
The 2026 exhibition recorded visitors from Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Asia, Russia and the Turkic republics. Exhibiting companies came from Türkiye, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Poland, China, South Korea and Bahrain.
For international exhibitors, this combination creates an opportunity to engage with Türkiye’s manufacturing community while exploring contacts from a wider region. For Turkish companies, it provides a setting to present their capabilities, meet overseas technology providers and develop international business relationships.
“An exhibition’s value continues in the conversations that follow it,” Ünverdi added. “We want EXPO3D Istanbul to be where companies meet their next customer, identify a potential local partner or discover a new application for their technology. In 2027, our focus is on broadening the international participation that makes those connections possible.”

EXPO3D Istanbul’s programme extended beyond the exhibition floor. The International 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Congress, held with contributions from Yıldız Technical University, brought academics, researchers and industry professionals together to discuss scientific work, technological developments and industrial applications.
Alongside the congress, EXPO3D Industry Talks examined the practical and economic questions shaping technology adoption. Discussions covered investment, return on investment, cost, productivity, new market opportunities and international competitiveness.
The 2027 edition is expected to cover industrial metal, polymer and composite AM; materials and consumables; robotic AM; design and production software; 3D scanning and reverse engineering; and measurement, testing and quality control. Complementary processes will include material preparation, post-processing, heat treatment, sintering, precision machining and hybrid manufacturing.
By bringing these capabilities together, EXPO3D Istanbul aims to help visitors consider how individual technologies fit into a complete production process and give exhibitors more opportunities to demonstrate their relevance to industrial applications.
