Eplus3D, Hangzhou, China, has collaborated with software provider CADS Additive GmbH, Perg, Austria, to integrate the company’s AM-Studio data preparation software into Eplus3D’s metal Additive Manufacturing machines.

“We are pleased to support Eplus3D during the international expansion,” stated Daniel Plos, Sales Director at CADS Additive GmbH. “Our brand-new ‘TITAN.Core’, with its many times faster calculation times for the hatching, makes its contribution to success – particularly for large and complex assembly units. In addition to outstanding results, Eplus3D’s customers thus also profit from the substantially-shorter production times.”

The AM-Studio is an intuitive Additive Manufacturing solution which is said to guide the user step-by-step through the entire manufacturing process – including post-processing. Algorithms and automatisms support the analysis of components and the creation of support geometries, as well as during slicing and hatching.

The software is said to enable the operation of the Eplus3D AM machines with a hands-on approach; rather than spending time on long training sessions, users can immediately start additively manufacturing components.

Enis Jost, Deputy General Manager at Eplus3D, commented, “The complete integration of all Eplus3D systems into AM-Studio is a great advantage for our customers. Their components are prepared in only a few pre-defined steps for printing and sent to the Production Unit. The parameter flexibility remains completely preserved – particularly advanced users really appreciate this.”
