EBM specialist Bruce Mclean joins Barnes Group Advisors

The Barnes Group Advisors (TBGA), headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, has appointed Bruce Mclean to its ADDvisor℠ Services team. Mclean was a founding partner of Electron Beam Melting (EBM) Additive Manufacturing service provider Zenith Tecnica, Auckland, New Zealand, where he served as Senior Engineer and Business Development Manager from June 2014–November 2018.

In addition to his role at Zenith Tecnica and knowledge of EBM Additive Manufacturing, Mclean is said to offer around forty years of diverse experience in aviation-related industries, including military & commercial airline operations, maintenance, repair & overhaul and design. Prior to founding Zenith Tecnica, he held positions at Page Macrae Engineering, Waratah Forestry Attachments and Air New Zealand.

He is also said to have a broad range of qualifications and experience in aircraft engineering with both New Zealand and United Kingdom’s Royal Air Forces, including A&P Mechanic, Aeronautical Diploma, an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Post-Graduate Aero-Systems Engineering Degree.
