Dates announced for Rapid+TCT 2019 in Detroit, USA

Rapid+TCT 2018 hosted more than 300 exhibitors from the metal AM industry

 

SME, Dearborn, Michigan, USA, and Rapid News Publications Ltd, Chester, UK, owner of TCT Group, have announced the dates for Rapid+TCT 2019. The 2019 event will take place in Detroit, Michigan, USA, from May 20–23, 2019.

Rapid is the largest and longest-running Additive Manufacturing exhibition in North America. In 2018, Rapid+TCT was held in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, April 23–26. It was reported to have been attended by over 6,000 visitors and hosted more than 300 exhibitors.

ExOne displayed its Additive Manufacturing technologies for metal, ceramic and sand materials at Rapid+TCT 2018

 

In addition to the exhibition, the event offered a conference programme of over 150 presentations, including four keynote sessions over the full week of the conference, beginning with the annual Kick-Off by Todd Grimm, President of T.A. Grimm & Associates.

2019 will also see the launch of Rapid + TCT West, set to run each year in addition to Rapid + TCT. Rapid + TCT West will take place on the West Coast of the US, and is said to be aimed at addressing the need for wider geographical coverage for the AM market in the US.

SPEE3D showcased its ‘supersonic3D deposition’ (SP3D) technology for high-speed metal AM at Rapid+TCT 2018

 

The first iteration of Rapid + TCT West will take place in Santa Clara, California, USA, October 9–10, 2019.
