Cookson Industrial, based in Birmingham, UK, will highlight the versatility of Additive Manufacturing precious metals with a range of high-end products at The Elite London exhibition 2025 (16–17 May).

At stand A36 in Hall A, the company will display a selection of luxury items crafted from various metals – including silver, gold, and platinum – alongside new designs developed through its partnership with Boltenstern, a fine jewellery atelier based in Austria.

This collaboration marks Cookson Industrial’s growing presence in the luxury market. The company has provided precious metal powder and Additive Manufacturing expertise to bring Boltenstern’s ‘Embrace’ collection to life. The collection features intricate designs combining gemstones with complex woven structures – geometries only achievable through Additive Manufacturing.

A division of HM Precious Metals, Cookson Industrial brings deep experience in additive manufacturing, having helped aerospace organisations de-risk the development of 3D-printed components. Its streamlined supply chain and ability to accelerate time to market have supported initiatives like the development of non-toxic ‘green thrusters’ for use in space.

Visitors can also view Cookson’s bespoke additively manufactured chess set, produced in a variety of precious materials. Created with meticulous attention to detail using the company’s E0S80 machine, the sets are available in several metals and an almost limitless range of finishes. These pieces exemplify Cookson’s technical expertise and its talent for blending advanced manufacturing with timeless design.

Nikesh Patel, Head of Cookson Industrial, commented, “The Elite London exhibition is a fantastic platform to demonstrate what’s possible with 3D-printed precious metals. Our experience working with these materials puts us in a strong position to deliver high-end, one-of-a-kind designs. These pieces truly embody what it means to be ‘elite’ – exclusive, personalised and impossible to replicate.

“Our 10-year partnership with Boltenstern is a perfect example of additive technology’s potential in the luxury space. Together, we’ve produced customisable fine jewellery finished to the highest standards. The Embrace collection showcases designs that simply couldn’t be achieved using traditional methods – it really must be seen to be appreciated.”
