CECIMO to host series of digital events through November and December

October 26, 2020

CECIMO, the European Association of Machine Tool Industries and Related Manufacturing Technologies, will host series of digital events through November and December, including the Additive Manufacturing European Conference (AMEC).

The full list of events for the final quarter of 2020 is as follows:

  • The impact of Additive Manufacturing on product sustainability – November 3, 2020, at 11:00 AM–12:10 PM (CET)
The advantages and challenges of adopting AM technologies on industrial product sustainability are still not clear across the industry. This webinar will provide examples and insights into the real impact of AM on sustainability.
  • Closing the Skills Gap in Manufacturing – November 12, 2020, at 11:00 AM–12:10 PM (CET)
This webinar will look at solutions to close skills gaps using tools developed during European projects and other National initiatives designed to prepare the workforce with the right skills for the industry. The event will feature best practices and suggestions for specific measures and solutions for EU and national policymakers, education providers and other key stakeholder groups.
  • Additive Manufacturing European Conference (AMEC) – December 2, 2020, at 11:00 AM–12:30 PM (CET)
The recent coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis has shown that traditional supply chains can be disrupted by a sudden change in the scale of demand. Therefore, it is essential that critical sectors such as healthcare, energy and telecommunications adopt more efficient and on-demand solutions to reduce the risks of supply chain disruption. This digital edition of AMEC will, therefore, put a spotlight on the benefits of the combination of digital supply chains and AM solutions.

Further information and registration details are available via the CECIMO website.
