CECIMO announces third Additive Manufacturing European Conference in Brussels
April 1, 2017
CECIMO, the European Association of the Machine Tool Industries, has announced the third Additive Manufacturing European Conference, to take place at the European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium, June 7, 2017. This year’s conference, titled ‘Boosting the competitiveness of the European industry by supporting the adoption of Additive Manufacturing’, will be hosted by Anthea McIntyre (European Conservatives and Reformists) and Cora van Nieuwenhuizen (Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe), both Members of the European Parliament.
The event offers a forum for EU policy-makers and industry leaders to meet and discuss the uptake of AM at factory level, and showcases AM as one of the most important disruptive technologies of the decade. Representatives from Additive Manufacturing companies, EU institutions, think tanks and the machine tools sector will discuss how the full-scale industrialisation of AM could be achieved in a rapid and cost-effective manner, and how the technology could help create the highest value for the economy and society.
The event is free to attend, but CECIMO reports limited places and early registration via their website is encouraged.
