The Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) has issued a Call for Papers for its PowderMet 2025 and AMPM 2025 conferences. The deadline for submissions is November 1, 2024.

The technical sessions are forums to review original and unpublished work addressing recent advances in the full spectrum of Powder Metallurgy and metal Additive Manufacturing. The conference enables authors to publicise recent work contributing to the state of the art and/or discus emerging areas of interest.

All submissions should clearly outline the results of the latest research, innovations, or improvements in PM or metal AM processing or products.

All accepted abstracts will require a manuscript submitted to MPIF prior to presentation at the conference.

PowderMet 2025 categories

  • Design & Modelling of PM Materials, Components & Processes
  • Particulate Production
  • Particulate Materials & Processes
  • General Compaction & Forming Processes
  • Powder Injection Molding (Metals & Ceramics)
  • Pre-Sintering & Sintering
  • Secondary Operations
  • Refractory Metals, Carbides & Ceramics
  • Material Properties
  • Test & Evaluation
  • Applications
  • Management Issues

AMPM 2025 categories

  • Modelling of Metal AM Materials, Components & Processes
  • Design of Metal AM Components
  • Particulate Production for Metal AM
  • Metal AM Build Processes
  • Metal AM Sintering
  • Metal AM Post-Build Operations
  • Metal AM Materials
  • Metal AM Materials Properties
  • Metal AM Testing & Evaluation
  • Metal AM Standards
  • Metal AM Applications
  • Metal AM Management Issues

Poster programme

The poster format is suitable for authors who wish to report important work in progress—research that catches the cutting edge of Powder Metallurgy or particulate technology. This format lends itself to reporting preliminary research results which may have large potential for industrial development, or simply where this alternate form of presentation is deemed more attractive. All poster programme participants will be eligible for Poster Awards.

Those who wish to submit an abstract can do so here.
