The MPIF’s Technical Board has selected the winning paper for its AMPM2018 Best Paper Award, given to the authors of one manuscript submitted to the Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy 2018 (AMPM2018) conference, which took place in San Antonio, Texas, USA, in June 2018.

Thomas F Murphy, Christopher T Schade and Alexander D Zwiren, Hoeganaes Corporation, received the 2018 award for their paper titled ‘Using Light and Electron Microscopy, Computed Tomography, and Light Scattering to Evaluate Additive Manufacturing Powders and Parts.’ The paper can be accessed via the MPIF’s Publications Portal where it appears in AMPM2018 Conference Presentations.

Paper submissions are now open for AMPM2019. More information on AMPM2019, including how to submit an abstract, is available via the conference website.
