BEAMIT and PST collaborate to expand services to aeronautical sector

Additive Manufacturing service provider BEAMIT SpA, Fornovo di Taro, Italy, has collaborated with coating services provider Praxair Surface Technologies (PST), a Linde company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, in order to offer an extended range of services to the aeronautical sector.

BEAMIT will reportedly bring its expertise in the AM of aviation components to the collaboration, while PST will contribute its speciality advanced coating solutions, as well as specialised materials and equipment, resulting in improved component performance and lifespan. 

“In PST we found a very good partner capable to provide us with leading expertise in surface treatments for aerospace applications, as well as world-leading special processes know-how,” stated Gabriele Rizzi, BEAMIT’s Chief Commercial Officer. “Our partnership will definitely benefit both current and future ADS OEM’s customers going forward.”
