amsight GmbH, based in Hamburg, Germany, has announced the successful completion of its pre-seed funding round. The funding is expected to allow the company to focus on expanding sales efforts, further develop its platform, and evolve the technology into a comprehensive process intelligence solution in response to the continued growth of industrial Additive Manufacturing.

“This funding enables us to take the next big step,” stated Dr-Ing Tim Wischeropp, co-founder and CEO of amsight. “Our goal is to bring data-driven transparency to Additive Manufacturing – improving processes, increasing measurable quality, and reducing scrap. The support of our investors is not only financial but also strategically invaluable.”

The round was supported by five investors: MBG Schleswig-Holstein and ‘business angels’ Michael Wohlmuth, Alexander Flamboe, Andreas Berkau and Michael Jonker.

The amsight platform

amsight is developing a software platform that collects, analyses, and evaluates production data from industrial Additive Manufacturing processes using statistical methods and artificial intelligence. By combining data from the entire production chain with process-specific knowledge, the system is designed to help users identify root causes, optimise parameters, and significantly reduce waste.

The platform is tailored to the complex requirements of Additive Manufacturing and integrates seamlessly into existing production environments. It offers both real-time monitoring and in-depth data analytics across the full production cycle.
