America Makes, Youngstown, Ohio, USA, will host its 12th Annual Members Meeting & Exchange (MMX) on August 6-7, in Canfield, Ohio. The event will bring together members of the government, military, academia and Additive Manufacturing industry to offer strategic and thought-provoking discussions on the priority needs and initiatives to enable the US to remain a global manufacturing leader.

The two-day event includes confirmed keynote speakers David Beck, Principal, Space Industrial Base at US Space Force; Terry Wohlers, Head of Advisory Services and Market Intelligence at Wohlers Associates, Powered by ASTM International; and Mark D Benedict, Senior Scientist, Convergent Manufacturing, Air Force Research Laboratory. Additional keynote speakers will be announced.

Panel discussions will focus on insights and growth opportunities in the AM technology, workforce development, and ecosystem pillars.

“MMX is the premiere gathering where collaboration and innovation intersect as AM industry leaders network, plan, and exchange ideas,” stated John Wilczynski, America Makes Executive Director. “Each year, the event brings a renewed sense of purpose to refine and strengthen our focus on core tenets of advancing the technology, growing the workforce, and expanding the AM ecosystem, and we do this in tandem with our membership who are committed to accelerating the adoption of AM.”

As in past years, America Makes will also announce the latest recipients of the Distinguished Collaborator and Ambassador awards.
