America Makes and Wohlers launch digital AM panel series

May 11, 2020

America Makes, Youngstown, Ohio, USA, is launching a series of virtual panel and networking events titled ‘Virtual Game Day Series’ in association with Wohlers Associates, Inc., Fort Collins, Colorado, USA. The virtual panel series will cover important and trending topics facing the Additive Manufacturing community, with Terry Wohlers moderating each of the panels.

During the event series, there will be an opportunity for participants to network directly with panelists, peers, and industry leaders to create a ‘virtual conference’ experience. This digital networking event is sponsored by Link3D, Boulder, Colorado, USA, and will follow each panel series.

The first panel is taking place on May 11, 2020, 12:00–16:00 EDT, and will focus on the coronavirus (COVID-19) response efforts and its impact on the future of AM. Terry Wohlers will moderate a panel that will include representatives from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Veterans Affairs Administration (VA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and John Wilczynski, America Makes Executive Director.

“During this time, it is important to find new ways to engage our members and the AM community with opportunities to connect and deliver high value information,” stated Wilczynski. “We are excited to partner with an industry expert like Terry Wohlers to roll out this new virtual event series as a way to convene the community and start the discussion on how we move forward.”

Further information and registration details are available via the event website.
