The coordinator of the Sector Skills Strategy in Additive Manufacturing (SAM) project has announced an upcoming free webinar which will focus on current developments and applications of AM in the automotive industry, as well as potential cases for the wider adoption of the technology.

The ninety-minute webinar, scheduled to take place April 26, 10:00-11:30 (CET), will be moderated by David Wimpenny (Chief Technologist, MTC) and includes the following talks:

  • Additive Manufacturing of Metal Parts – Actual Situation and Use Cases by Martin Bock (Project Leader, Audi AG)
  • AM in automotive – Successes and future requirements by Simon Hoeges (Technology Director, GKN Additive)
