October 10, 2024

Additive Manufacturing Austria (AM Austria), a non-profit technology platform that promotes and supports the Austrian Additive Manufacturing industry, has elected a new board for the upcoming term. The new board consists of Dr Johannes Gartner, Dr Arko Steinwender, DI Benjamin Losert, DI Michael Kitzmantel, and Thomas Gruber.
The platform serves as a central hub for the Austrian Additive Manufacturing sector, connecting national stakeholders and fostering interdisciplinary exchange and cooperation within the industry. Its openness to international companies and experts further promotes knowledge transfer and supports the dissemination of future technologies in the field of digital production.
“We strive to create a collaborative environment that fosters the development and dissemination of innovations in the field of Additive Manufacturing in Austria,” explained Dr Johannes Gartner, President of AM-Austria.
The global exchange of know-how, resources, and innovations enables companies and organisations to collaborate more efficiently and tackle common challenges in the Austrian market – where medium-sized enterprises and specialised industries are said to form the backbone of the economy. This strengthens Austria’s AM supplier and user industry, making it future proof for international competition.
